LANSING GRAIN COMPANY, LLC CHANGES ITS NAME TO "LANSING TRADE GROUP, LLC"

(OVERLAND PARK, KS) – April 28, 2006—Lansing Grain Company, LLC is formally changing its name to "Lansing Trade Group, LLC" effective on May 1, 2006. This change in name is being made to reflect the growth in Lansing's business over the past several years, and its rapid diversification into areas other than its traditional grains business.

Lansing has rapidly grown its core business in agricultural products like corn and wheat, but has significantly increased its business in the feed grain category, trading distillers' grains, wheat midds, cottonseed, hominy, and a variety of other products. Lansing has also moved into a broader trading arena involving energies and other commodities.

In February, Lansing announced the formation of a new limited liability company called Lansing Ethanol Services, LLC ("LES"). LES is a joint venture between Lansing Trade Group, LLC, and an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Macquarie Bank Limited called Macquarie Americas Corp. LES provides ethanol marketing services for ethanol producers, actively trades physical ethanol and develops synergies between a leading commodity focused financial institution and a progressive trading company. LES will continue to operate under its current name.

"The name Lansing Trade Group more accurately reflects the forward direction of our company," said Bill Krueger, President and CEO. "We want our company name to bring to mind that we can provide physical and financial opportunities and solutions for a variety of markets. We have worked hard diversifying our company in recent years, and feel that we are just getting started. Our successes have encouraged us to continue to develop trading opportunities."
