Lansing Ethanol Services, LLC (LES) is very actively merchandising physical ethanol from coast to coast. The LES infrastructure includes a large fleet of railcars, a customer network in all major destinations, an inventory management system and logistics expertise to efficiently access all markets. Additionally LES has storage and transload facilities in key markets across the country.
LES can establish a merchandising service agreement for ethanol plants, while providing real time market information and our strong sale customer base. Our services include scheduling of logistics, provision of rail cars/trucks where needed, sales documentation, invoicing, reporting, and prompt payment. In addition, LES has the skills and experience to provide various over the counter risk management structures as an extension of a marketing agreement.
LES can be a market maker for market participants, providing competitive pricing on a daily basis. Our experience in trading physical commodities is reflected in the aggressive, accurate and creative markets in which we participate. LES can provide markets for delivery well into the future. CORN ORIGINATION
Lansing Trade Group, LLC (LTG) has expertise in the origination of corn, and can do so for ethanol plants. We ship significant volumes of corn on each of the Class 1 railways ensuring the most competitive freight packages for a plant, as well as actively trading truck markets across the country.
The details of communicating with producers and other suppliers, assuming delivery risk, providing settlements and payments, coordinating logistics, and professional reporting are all part of the services we provide.
DISTILLERS' GRAINS
LTG can provide services in the merchandising of Distillers' Grains for an ethanol plant. LTG has developed markets for Distillers' Grains across the country and in Mexico. We have a strong representation in the dairy and feed markets within the US. This merchandising includes all aspects of execution and logistics for these activities. It also includes assumption of the receivables risk, ensuring timely movement of the product, managing price risk, and running a private fleet of rail cars.
